My mlm taught me what it takes to be a top producer

If you’ve been in an mlm, you know that there is a difference between those who are top producers and those who dream about it. There are many things that can be credited for top producer’s success. Right off the bat, I learned that you have to do income producing activities. If you do things like getting ready to get ready, thinking about, planning it, emailing, talking about - that will not get you the results. Even as a former brick and mortar business owner I didn’t always know the difference between income producing activities and those activities that cost me. To identify your IPA (income producing activities) ask yourself, does this activity help get me paid? Some areas are not always clear. If you have to question it - then it’s probably NOT a paying activity. The hardest switch to make as an independent business owner is doing things that focus on money in your pocket. You are not trading time for dollars any more.

What about all that work and you do finally make a little bigger check and then boom - the people you enrolled jump ship because they really didn’t see value in the product or they had no intention of really doing all these ridiculous things you ask them to do. How to avoid MLM lead deprivation & be hunted

MLM lead deprivation is a common disease in traditional MLMs. Buck the system and have people hunt you down. There are a few simple steps that you can follow to have 40-50 leads a day hunt you down, and ask you to call them. The part is to determine your purpose for generating the leads. It can be a blog, newsletter, or your business opportunity. You will need to design a website hub that has a lead capture page on it with your relevant offer. You will offer free information in exchange for your prospects information. The capture page must be about you - not your company, or product. You want to promote yourself as leader, and have control of the emails being sent. I put together my own websites, and offer to do the same for my team members. Once your prospects have opted in - you will provide them with valuable content they can use. People join people who are leaders because of who they are, not what they sell. Is there really any difference in MLM compensation plans?

There are so many MLM compensation plans out there. They all seem to have their “perks” with upfront bonuses when you enroll someone, or maybe back-end bonuses with the more people you enroll. One leg, two legs, and six legs, matrix. We personally have been in a few. But they always seems to be the same - get “_people” and show those people how to get “__people”. So with that said, are they really different? It seems like the same concept - just said differently. The best part is the “pre-launch” of the NEW compensation plan. “Get in now - this is going to be a big one.” Frankly, we had enough. We were tired of all the over promises, chasing people around to make a few bucks of off people who really don’t want to do a darn thing with their business. The Magic of Thinking Big

We are reading the book, The Magic Of Thinking Big, by David Schwartz. Awesome book for many reasons. My favorite topic is “Believe it can be done.” He talks about eliminating the word impossible from your thinking and how that sets off a chain reaction of other thoughts to prove you’re right.

An exercise he recommends is to think of something special you’ve been wanting to to but felt you couldn’t. Now make a list of reasons why you can do it. Many times we let our mind defeat our desires because we focus on why we can’t as opposed to why we can. Try this - it does amazing things!! IT worked really well for us.
